  in new york city. the price of a 1 family home. in a middle income area is from $400-000 - $700,000. out of about 20 halls i can think of off the top of my head. not one can be worth less than a million. most are likely worth about 2-4 million each. thats at least 20-80 million just in part of my county. i forget the number . but there are over 100 halls in new york city figure an @ value of 2 million each your talking easy 200 million just here. not including bethel or assembly halls. can any one say BILL as IN $$$$$$$$$DOLLAR BILL$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. i'm sure my number are on the low side. john just the building at 25 columbia hts. has to be worth at least 50- 100 million

  hi jeff; i see were you are coming from. and agree. most times when you go to a priest . they will discuss your problems. and not , got you the high pressure that the jw's would. again i agree, it seems the catholic are a more forgiving group. and it is rare for them to shun or df a person. 2 different worlds. i still don't agree in confession to a priest. but i get your point. john

  first book seiola or reprinted as"women and angels" i think is on the net. the way to paradise 1924 may not be on the net but you can order it from lulu. for about $10 witch is dirt cheap. for a book that cost's about $100 ON EBAY. NOW FOR MY WISH LIST . IT WOULD BE THE COMPLETE GOLDEN AGE MAG'S FROM 1919-1939. JOHN

  jeff: i allways enjoyed listening to your radio show and t.v. spots about the jw's. i went to catholic school till 6th grade. and still go to mass once an a while. i think your going over the top about confession, and telling your sins to a priest and him telling you to say 10 hail mary's and 5 our fathers. to cleanz your sins. i just don't see it. telling your sins to a priest , is no better in the eyes of christ, than writing to dear abby and asking for advice. we all know our own sins, and the lord will know when we change in our hearts. no priest or elder can cleanz your soul. only you can do it yourself. john

  Memorial Celebration -- Bethel Needs to Check Their Calendar

  has anyone within bethel happened to check the jewish calendar?

  yesterday my stepdaughter was trying to figure out if she had the week off from school.

  so i looked up the nyc board of education calendar and was shocked to discover that she won't be off until april 21st - 25th.

  last friday the judge decided that my wrongfull death suit for my daughters estate can proceed against the watchtower society and its lawyers and the doctors.

  the story received national news coverage on saturday and tuesday with alot of coverage on monday.

  today, associated press and cnn covered the story which makes it world news.. lawrence.

  lets see. the jw city bus driver can drive army personnal to the army base.on his city route. but the jw coca cola man and the jw that drives the bread truck can't deliver to the army base. the dub private contractor. can't paint the building on the army base. but the jw that works for the gov't can pave the roads of the army base. the dub that works for the phone co. can install phones at the army base. but the jw that works as a private contractor that works for the cable co. can't install t.v. on the army base.... it's all so clear to me now . the wt are scared shit of the gov't . and will only take action against jw's that work for themselves. and not the state. john
